Northern Territory lawmaker Andrew Mackay discovered his dogs had allowed farm animals into his Darwin home after checking his pet camera during dinner. Security footage shows his two dogs, led by Thunder, pushing open a sliding door to exit outside. A steer named Sue then wandered inside, followed by pet horse Cricket, who sniffed furniture. The animals spent an hour and a half indoors, knocking items off cabinets while Mackay and his fiancée were dining out. “Over the next hour and a half, they took turns playing inside, knocking things off cabinets,” Mackay told AFP. Cricket scattered vegetable scraps around the room and drank from the fish tank, significantly lowering water levels. Mackay posted the security video on Facebook, noting “now the outside animals know what aircon feels like and will no doubt try again.” All pets remained unharmed during the incident. (Story URL)
