Madison Beer and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert are engaged after nearly a year together. The couple confirmed the news Tuesday, July 28, through a joint Instagram post featuring photos from the outdoor proposal.
In the announcement, Herbert is shown kneeling with a ring box as Beer smiles beside him. The post included the caption Meet my fiancé and quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans, musicians and the Chargers organization.
Beer, 27, and Herbert, 28, were first linked in August 2025. Their relationship became more public when Beer attended Chargers games, and the pair shared a sideline kiss before a game in October. They have also appeared together at basketball and baseball events in Los Angeles.
Herbert later appeared in the music video for Beer’s song Lovergirl, released earlier this year. The couple has also shared supportive birthday messages and personal photos on social media.
No wedding date or additional ceremony details have been announced.
