A BTS fan from Brazil could be deported from South Korea after a court case linked to repeated visits to Jungkook’s residence. Reports indicate the woman rang the singer’s doorbell 133 times over a two-month period, drawing attention from local authorities.
The case emerged after officials investigated multiple incidents involving visits to the property. According to details presented during legal proceedings, the woman continued returning to the residence despite warnings and concerns about the singer’s privacy.
A court later sentenced the woman to one year in prison, suspended for two years, in connection with the case. She was also ordered to complete a stalking treatment program. South Korean immigration authorities are now reviewing whether additional action should be taken, including possible deportation.
The incident has renewed discussion around privacy and safety for public figures. While artists often maintain close relationships with fans through performances, social media, and public appearances, personal residences remain private spaces protected by law.
South Korea has previously taken steps to address stalking and harassment cases involving celebrities. Authorities continue to encourage respectful fan behavior while enforcing laws designed to protect individual safety and privacy.
