The U.S. military announced Tuesday night that its latest round of strikes on Iran had ended after an 11th consecutive night of operations. The attacks targeted military facilities, including aircraft hangars and locations used to store drones, as Washington continued efforts to limit Iran’s ability to threaten American forces and commercial shipping.
In a separate public statement, President Donald Trump warned that the United States could heavily strike a fortified underground nuclear facility if Iran continued its current actions. No new attack on the site was confirmed.
Iran has continued launching missiles and drones at U.S. positions and regional targets. The fighting has also disrupted major shipping routes, including the Strait of Hormuz, a critical passage for global oil supplies.
Defense officials estimate the conflict has cost the United States $37.5 billion. More than 500 American service members have been wounded, while 18 have died since the war began.
Diplomatic efforts remain limited as both sides exchange attacks. Governments across the region are monitoring the conflict closely amid concerns about energy supplies, civilian safety, and further military escalation.
