A majority of voters say President Joe Biden has put America on the wrong track, while 42% of voters look back at Donald Trump’s tenure in the White House as “mostly good years,” according to a New York Times/Siena poll.
The survey asked respondents — “Do you think the United States is on the right track, or is it headed in the wrong direction” — and 25% said the right track and 64% said wrong direction.
A Times analysis noted the findings showed “while memories of Trump’s tumultuous and chaotic administration have not significantly faded, many voters now have a rosier picture of his handling of the economy, immigration and maintaining law and order.”
